Woke up got to take in some inspiring music at the #everthingisnotok festival stop at Red Cup and then beat the rain to get my goal of the day accomplished. Toothpick the rail, no hand 540 vert. The rest of the day is just extra. Thanks bicycle #backyardsess434
I wanted to start today off by doing an ice pick down my handrail and pump as hard as I could into an invert 540. Thank you bicycle. #backyardsess434
I wanted to make a super quality bike that could stand the abuse, but someone on a budget could afford. So here’s how this went and how this bike was made…. I grew up in the Punk Rock culture in the 80s. It taught me to question and challenge everything, to appreciate and look up to different people and see the different values that made them great. My life has been inspired by this. I feel lucky for the community I grew up with. I was at Ian MacKaye 50th Birthday day celebration. I got to talking with @movetk and became friends. We then exchanged art. Even got to paint one for the #RosaParks Museum. Then when I wanted to make this bike we formed this awesome collaboration and created The Seeker.
The title is derived from the poet #matsuo “Don’t seek to follow in the footsteps of the masters, seek what they sought”. This bike is freedom to do your own thing.
The first addition was pure simple, to the point, core punk rock beauty. The next addition was focused, polished beauty for the 25th anniversary.
Tim Kerr also inspired the world to put “your name here”. If you like seeing and/or hearing it then do it, live it, make it real, make it yours.
If you ever dreamed of going for it. riding a bike and getting rad then “put your name here”. Caus lucky you gets 20% off dealer/retail and FREE shipping with code “20” for the red and grey Seeker and “20yo” for the black and orange Seeker, for the rest of the month.
Thanks friends. Link in bio.
Go BIG and have FUN everyday!
