I was asked by @wesselbuilt if I would donate a painting to be auctioned off to raise money to make a statue of Dave Mirra in Jaycee Skate Park in Greenville NC. Honored. I was inspired by a picture I saw @rayschlechtweg took of me doing an from the 2Hip ROCKVILLE JAM OCTOBER 23, 1987 IN WASHINGTON DC and painted it on a 12"x12" piece of Skatelite listening to the legendary DC band Fugazi @dischordrecords. It looks like there will be an auction online on eBay leading up to live auction Feb 4th. There will be lots of good donations to bid on. The cost of the statue is 10K. Stay tuned.
